I started in the sunblind business in 1976, initially as an installer,
and later as an estimator / surveyor for a company operating from
the Bournemouth area, supplying general blinds and awnings to the
domestic and commercial market.
In 1987 I formed my own company - Dorset Conservatory Blinds - specifically
to cater to the fast growing conservatory blind trade. I have since built
up a good reputation within the conservatory and sunblind business, with
many conservatory companies now specifying or recommending me to their
